Just a reminder that most assignments can be completed in class. Students have ample time to work on them as long as they use their time wisely. They always have 15 minutes when they arrive in the morning to do catch up work as well as 20 minutes during POD time to finish up assignments. I will usually only assign it for homework when there are about 4 or 5 students that need to finish up.
Spelling questions are given on Monday morning and must be completed by Friday. They will have their spelling tests on Friday mornings. They are also given a journal topic for the week. They have until Friday to complete it and hand it in.
The agenda board is updated regularly with assignments and when they are due. Students update their agendas every morning to reflect what is written on the agenda board. I also post upcoming assignments on the blog so if you want to double check here it is always available.
Please sign the agenda every day so I know that you have seen what they have written and any outstanding assignments they may have. Thanks for your cooperation!
