Family Fun Night cancelled

Friday May 31 from 5:00-8:00. Meet at the tennis courts to pick up your equipment. There will be tennis, geocaching, disc golf and mini golf. There will be a BBQ supper from 5:30-7:30. Hamburger meal $6 and to dog meal $4. Meals include a drink and a treat. Bring our whole family for some family fun!

Eduphotoadaymay Day 22-grow

 I took a picture of one of the student apple trees. We hope they will grow!

Tomorrow Wednesday May 22 the grade 5's will be getting apple trees from the Whitemud Watershed. Students will need to make arrangements for someone to come pick up their tree. They cannot go home on the bus. Please pass this along to anyone else you are talking to that may need to make arrangements. Thanks!

A stubborn mechanic who solves a crime.

- My person complains a lot because he is stubborn, and this helps him in the end
- The stubborn mechanic' brother goes missing and he has to solve the crime. The brother is a detective.
- big crime and FBI couldn't solve so he got involved because deep down he always wanted to FBI agent
- he uses his mustache to help him (it has it's own ideas and can sense stuff)

Our class is hooked on this book. It is called the red pyramid and it is the first in the series called the Kane chronicles. The second book is called the throne of fire and the third book is called the serpents shadow. Sounds cool eh!!! You should read them! -conner wrote this!!!

Day 6: Eyes

This is an art project we did. We had to draw a picture of what we saw the environment looking like in the future. We voted on the different drawings and this is the one we decided to post to the eduphotoadaymay challenge. There were a lot of great ones to choose from!

For day three we were supposed to look out our window. The picture below was our perspective of what we saw out our window. We got a lot of ideas from looking at the other photos on Instagram and used them in our writing today. The next two days are sunshine and upside down. We brainstormed some ideas and then we took a few pictures, but we decided to wait until Monday to post those because we might come up with some other ideas over the weekend.

Day 2 of the Eduphoto A Day Challenge

Today's word was music. We had lots of ideas so we split up into smaller groups and worked on our photos. We decided to put our ideas together and make a collage to show them all. Here is what we posted today.

The word tomorrow is #outside our window. I know it's technically three words! We will be brainstorming some ideas of pictures to take that will match this theme.

Eduphoto A Day Challenge

We started a challenge today! It's is called #eduphotadaymay and for each day in May we are challenged to take a picture that represents the word of the day. We then post the picture on Instagram and we check out what other classes around Manitoba are posting. We are using these pictures to generate some ideas for our writing. It is also to challenge to come up with ideas for a picture for the word of the day!
