Happy 80th Birthday!

Today we celebrated Mrs Chant's 80th Birthday. We had cake and each class told why Mrs Chant was more important to us than gold. We said she was more important than gold to us because she tells the most exhilarating stories about her life! Happy Birthday Mrs. Chant!

School Cancelled-Tuesday March 19

Buses are not running today and classes have been cancelled. See you tomorrow!

School cancelled today.
We will make our masks on Tuesday instead so please bring your materials Tuesday.

Mask Project

On Monday we will be starting our mask project. We will start by molding the masks, which is a very messy process. Please bring some type of a headband or elastic to hold your hair back, preferrably an old one. Also, it is a good idea to wear old clothes and bring a face cloth to wash up afterwards. It might be a good idea to bring an old shirt to leave here for the week as we will be painting on Tuesday and touching up on Wednesday. Hopefully the masks will be ready to take home on Friday!

Science Design Projects

The students are currently designing and constructing their own electrical device. Their challenge was to create an electrical device that performs a certain function. Their electrical device has to have a complete series circuit and it must be able to do one of the following: move, make a sound, light up or heat or cool.
We are looking forward to some of the inventions they may create. They need to get their materials in this week as we are starting to build. They need to be complete by Wednesday March 20. Students will be designing and constructing these at school. This is their opportunity to show how they can work through the design process and problem solve.

Parent Teacher

Parent teacher conferences are being held Thursday night and Friday morning this week.  Forms are being sent home today with your conference times. Please check if they will work or not and return to school.
Students are asked to attend conferences with their parents. 10 minutes are scheduled for each meeting.

Cancelled Again

School has been cancelled for tomorrow Tuesday March 5.

Sorry it's late but we just got the word. School is cancelled for the day. Buses tried but said its too bad.
This is the perfect opportunity to go on mathletics or sumdog or try out some other math apps!
Maybe you want to do a little research about world war 1.
Storm days are the perfect days for doing a little catch up or just curling up with a good book. We will do a survey tomorrow to see how everyone spent their day.
