Spelling Change

We are trying something a little different with our spelling this week. Students have gone through their writing and found words that they have difficulty spelling. They wrote these down on a paper and put each of them into a sentence. These are the words they have been working with this week. We are planning to work a couple of more days with them and then we will do a spelling test. Once they have mastered these words, they will find a new set of challenging words. Any words that have not been mastered, will remain on their list for the next week and will stay until they know how to spell them. Their list of words are on www.spellingcity.com under their name. They have also copied them down on a word list sheet.
