The school is collecting Koats for Kids. If you have any children's coats that you no longer use or want, please send them to the school this week. If you are in need of a coat, please call Mrs. Penner at the school at 685-2249.
Plastic grocery bags are also being collected by Mr. McKinstry's class until Oct. 29. These bags are going to be used to make frisbees for the students. Also, the school with the most plastic bags turned in will win a park bench for their playground.
Ms. Turner's class is collecting drink tabs from cans.
We will be deciding this week what challenge our class will undertake to help our environment or community. If you have any suggestions please discuss them with your child and ask them to mention them at our class discussion.
