The grade 5/6 field trip will be on Wednesday, June 18th
to Spruce Woods Provincial Park.
Students will travel by bus to Spirit Sands Wagon Outfitters to go on a guided
tour of the Spruce Woods, with stops at the Punchbowl and in the desert. This
tour starts at 10am and once the tour is over we will go to the day area of
Spruce Woods and have a BBQ lunch. The afternoon will be spent hiking and
playing organized games. We will return to the school by 5:30pm. Students may bring in additional money to buy an
ice-cream in the afternoon, if they would like. Please make sure to dress appropriately for hiking, bring bug spray and sunscreen, as well as a hat and water. Students may also pack some extra snacks.
Leave MES at 9am
Arrive at Wagon Outfitter for guided tour 10am
BBQ lunch at 12
Hiking and organized games in the afternoon.
Leave Spruce Woods at 4pm
