Web cast

On Wednesday we participated in a webcast with Dav Pilky and Jeff Kinney, the authors of Captain Underpants and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. They talked about how they started writing and what all you need to write a good story. Then we started a story together. We came up with a couple of characters, the setting and the conflict. We started writing the story together and then they stopped and asked us to go back to our classes and finish the story for them! Some of the students have chosen to finish the story on their own while others have paired up to work with a partner. We are very excited to see all the different endings to this story! Once they are complete we will mail them to the authors and they will decide on the best ending.
