Don't forget to study for your science test on Tuesday March 22. It is on electricity. Questions will be based on your 5 learning targets. Electricity vocabulary, drawing simple, series and parallel circuits, electrical safety, the advantages and disadvantages between series and parallel circuits, and the different energy resources such as hydroelectricity, geothermal, wind power, solar power, fossil fuels and nuclear.
Some terms to know: conductors, insulators, renewable resource, non-renewable resource, circuit, current, energy source, output device, static electricity, atoms, switch, neutron, positive and negative charges.
Remember the Law of Electrostatics??? Opposites attract! Two things with different charges will attract to each other or pull together. Two things with the same charge will repel each other. Remember the balloons?
